Welcome to the 2017-18 School Year!

The first day of school will take place on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 for all students.

Attention 6th grade families and families new to NCMS:

There will be a meeting for parents of 6th grade students and transfer students on Tuesday, August 15 at 6:00 pm. (Parents only please).  Important procedural information will be discussed followed by a question and answer session.

Chromebook Distribution and Open School Night will take place on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 6:30pm - 8:00pm.  Students will be given their Chromebook and account information to access Aspen.  All students must be accompanied by a parent/guardian so that all necessary paperwork can be signed. The school will be open for families to informally walk around the school and have any questions answered.

Sixth grade orientation will take place on the first day of school. All 6th grade students will report to the cafeteria on the first day of school. Students will be escorted to their homerooms by their homeroom teachers. Sixth grade students will then take part in a full day of activities and fun to welcome them to their new school.

Transfer students in grades 7 and 8 will report to the School Counselor's office upon arrival and receive a personalized orientation prior to beginning their school day.

Returning 7th and 8th grade students will report to their homerooms.

Aspen will reopen just prior to the start of the school year. Students will have access to their schedules at that time.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the school.

We all are excited for the start of the 2017-18 school year!
